Calvary Church 2.0

Calvary is now on the social media scene: Twitter & Facebook.

Right now, we're only posting/tweeting/updating a couple of times a week. If we get lots and lots of followers/friends, it could become a valuable way for us to let you now about what God is up to at Calvary Church.

The Facebook link is broken. Did you setup a group on Facebook? Is it the group that has been out there for a year or so? http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=6127625828&ref=ts

Rick -

I created a FB account for Calvary (as if Calvary were a person). This is to be used in conjunction with the group. It allows people to add Calvary as a friend instead of just joining a group. Showing up in people's friend list is a little higher visibility than in someone's group listing. Also, with groups, there is not status posting (that I'm aware of) but I can update statuses for the Calvary account to help raise awareness about Calvary events and tell the Calvary story!

Also, I fixed the link. Thanks for the head's up on that!
