Youth Winter Camp / Baptism / Summer Trips

We have had such a great time in our Senior High Ministry the last 2 months.  We started off the Christmas season in December with 2 baptisms of students who had made the decision to follow Christ last year.  We also continued that spirit of excitement through the Christmas season.  With the new year and school starting back up we are now back in our routine of weekly F3 groups and monthly activities that will be coming your way soon.  We just got back from our winter camp Monday evening.  All that I have to say is BUUUUUURRRRRRRRR!!      It was a great weekend of challenging all the students, that froze with us, to go deeper in the relationship with God.  We also had great worship brought to us from Jennafer and Brady of Wrent.  They are a great pair, and made some great connections with our students as well as doing a fantastic job of leading us in worship and song.  All of our Summer camp and Mission Trip info will be coming out by February 1st.

CALLING ALL PARENTS!!   Please make it to our parents meeting for information on all our summer activities.  In this meeting we will be covering Summer Camp and Mission trips for June and July.  God Bless all of you as we work together to help our senior high students draw closer to God.

Connections To Success Christmas Party

The Connections To Success Christmas Party was an awesome success! There were gifts, games, and other special events for the families involved. Almost 1000 single moms and hurting families attended.  Many of these would not have had a Christmas without this ministry. Almost half of the volunteers were from Calvary including several small groups.  The Boy Scout unit from Calvary put together 120 food boxes for the families.

Making A Difference In The Lives Of Prisoners

Calvary along with O'Fallon First Baptist, sponsored "Christmas Behind Bars" which is a program to provide Christmas Eve services for the inmates in the St. Charles County Jail.  On Saturday, December 13, close to 300 inmates attended the services plus several of the prison guards.  All together 198 people accepted Christ.  We gave away gift bags which included Christian literature, hygiene items, and a Bible to all those attending the services.  Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!

Arrrrg!  Aye, Matey! Pirates we are, to be sure. And if you're not a landlubber, and if ye be in grades 3 through 5, we welcome you to come aboard and join us for an adventure on the high seas!  We'll be rehearsin' mostly on Sunday afternoons. Performances are in April.

 

All children in grades 3 - 5 are welcome to participate. Those interested in a speaking part, singing a solo, or dancing are welcome to audition.
